Terms of Service

RunSequence is owned and run by Michael Wiedemeier in Cedar Falls, Iowa. It sets up AI phone answering, missed-call text-back, and appointment booking for local businesses. These terms cover this website and the text-messaging program. Businesses that hire RunSequence get a separate written service agreement, and where the two differ, that agreement governs the client relationship.

The website

This site is informational. It is provided as-is: no warranty that it is error-free or always available. It makes no network requests, sets no cookies, and collects nothing about visitors — see the Privacy Policy.

Text-messaging program terms

• Program: RunSequence sends appointment confirmations and scheduling updates on behalf of the local businesses whose phones it answers, and occasionally a service reminder.
• Opt-in: consent is given verbally on a phone call — when you book an appointment, the assistant asks for your mobile number and whether you would like a text confirmation — or by texting the business first. You are not texted without it.
• Frequency: varies with your bookings; typically 1–3 messages per appointment.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply, per your mobile carrier's plan. RunSequence never charges callers for messages.
• Opt-out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or email michael@runsequence.com.
• Carriers: mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What the service does not promise

The service runs on third-party phone, texting, and scheduling platforms, which can and do have outages. There is no promise of uninterrupted service and no guarantee that every call or message goes through — nobody can honestly make that promise. What is promised: when something breaks, the owner tells the affected businesses plainly what broke and works it until it is fixed.

Acceptable use

The service may not be used for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harassing. RunSequence does not send marketing to purchased, rented, or scraped contact lists, and will not do so for a client.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunSequence's total liability arising out of this website or the messaging program is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question — for website visitors and message recipients, that amount is zero. Client-business liability terms live in the written service agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date at the top. No silent edits.
