How it works
- A call comes in. Your business line forwards to the service when you don’t pick up — or all the time, your choice.
- The assistant answers, or texts back. It takes the caller’s name, number, and what they need, answers the questions you’ve set, and texts anyone whose call was missed.
- The appointment lands on your calendar. You get a summary of every call. Anything that needs a human decision is flagged for you, not decided for you.
The assistant tells people it’s an assistant
The phone is answered by an AI assistant — not a person — and it is set up to say so at the start of the call, along with letting the caller know the call is recorded. Your customers are never tricked into thinking they’re talking to your office staff.
That’s deliberate. A neighbor who finds out later that “your receptionist” was a robot is a neighbor you lost. Being straight about it up front is how this keeps working in a town where everyone knows everyone.
Straight about what this is
- It runs on other people’s platforms. Phone carriers, texting networks, and software vendors can and do have outages. There’s no promise here that the service is up every second of every day — nobody can honestly make that promise. What you get instead: when something goes wrong, you hear about it from me plainly — what broke, what it affected, what’s being done — and I work it until it’s fixed.
- No numbers promised. No claims about how many calls, bookings, or dollars this will produce for you. That depends on your business and your market, not on a sales page.
- Texting takes a few weeks to switch on. Phone carriers require every business to register before it can send business texts — typically two to six weeks after the paperwork goes in. I handle the paperwork with your help. Everything else starts sooner.
- Your number and your customer data stay yours. Names, numbers, call recordings, and booking history belong to you, and your phone number leaves with you if you ever do.
Who you’re dealing with
RunSequence is owned and run by Michael Wiedemeier, here in the Cedar Valley. It’s a new local business, and there’s an upside to that worth saying plainly: you deal directly with the owner. No call center, no account rep, no ticket queue. The person who sets up your system is the person who answers when you call about it — and someone you can actually track down in town.
Setup is done for you, not handed to you as a login and a manual. Plans are a one-time setup fee plus a flat monthly rate, with a 90-day start and month-to-month after that. Which plan fits depends on what your business is missing — we go through that on the call, and you get the price in writing before anything starts.
